WHEN TO CALL

A lot of common misconceptions on this one but I will try to help you out. First of all, this schedule can vary based on your individual confidence level, or rather, your individual "I don't really give a shit" level. Let me start by saying that without question, Thursday night is the best night of the week to go out. Not because I DJ at the Bayou on Thursday nights (little plug), but because it is the easiest way to implement this schedule. If you meet a woman on a Thursday night, you call her in 5 days. That would be Monday for all of you slow people. Let me explain a bit about the 5 day rule real fast. Five days is the maximum amount time before you call her. Anymore than that and she will start to think one of two things. One, he's not interested or two, he's a player. By the way ladies, don't be playa haters. For the most part you are all just as bad. You are just much quieter about it.

At any rate, the optimum time, unless you met on a Thursday night, is three to four days depending on your level. If you just got out of a relationship and you are still pissed at the world…lose the number. Don't even bother trying to call. You are going to screw it up anyway. You should have tried to get her back to your place and treated her like a plastic doll. That would have been your only medicine for your recent break-up.

Remember to always give her your number even if she doesn't ask for it. If you are interested in the beginning, you can always give her the right to call…and then call her on it, if she gives you shit about waiting too long. And by the way, ladies that are reading this…don't give us this crap about you not calling guys. Last time I checked you were executives, doctors, lawyers, in Congress, and playing lots of sports. It's 2002…you should have already learned how to use a phone. Pick the damn thing up and call.
