That Romantic Dinner to impress her
Fellas,
This here is a little segment to help you all
in your quest to impress the women. I can't say that I do that
very well, but I have never had a meal complaint when I offer
to cook dinner. I figured I would pass three specific, and easy,
recipes that are sure to please. They take a nominal amount of
time and the directions are easy to follow. Trust me on this one
fellas, they work!
First off let me explain a little about the
"dinner at his house" date. This can be very sensitive
because you are asking her to spend a fairly large amount of time
in your house. Especially if you haven't been dating for a while.
She must be comfortable and entertained at the same time. Most
of it while you are still preparing dinner. So let me create the
mood. First off, NO TV! Have a CD on. No radio stations that are
marred with DJ's and commercials. Constant music is this best
route. Nothing too hard like rock'n'roll
nothing too wimpy
like Enya! I recommend something along the lines of a David Gray.
White Ladder is a great album that you can let play through with
no worries.
Next, if she has any class whatsoever, she will
ask you if she can give you a hand. This is a very crucial moment
don't
mess it up! Your response should be this, "Actually, I would
love some help. Can I offer you a glass of wine first?" May
sound a little corny but let me explain. The worst thing you can
do on any date is make her feel worthless or have her watch you
doing something. You of course want to get a glass of wine in
her to loosen up the mood. I said MOOD not MORALS. Well, maybe
that too. You also want to give her some simple task like making
the salad. Tell her you didn't expect this meal to take as long
as it has and if she could help you with that, it would be great
(making her think you put a lot of effort into it). Now the mood
is set and she feels as though she is actually doing something
helpful.
Now for the meal. Ask her in advance if there
is any food she doesn't like. She may say beef like a lot of women
do. She may say seafood. She may say pork. Pork and beef are usually
the two that she won't want. That is perfectly acceptable because
unless you are barbecuing for a big party, you aren't going to
cook either one of these for a dinner date. My three best meals
are a fish, shrimp, and chicken dinner. Take your pick!
